New York is full of many hidden gems and we are excited to share some fun facts as to why Eastchester is one of those places. Settled back in 1664, Eastchester has a rich history and lots to offer. Eastchester is bound by Scarsdale on the north, New Rochelle on the east, Yonkers on the west, and Mt. Vernon on the south.  And being just 20 miles outside of New York City make it a commuters dream. Tuckahoe and Bronxville are incorporated villages within the roughly 3.25 square miles.

This town boasts several amazing parks and is also home of The Treetures, a small magic forest nursery created by the local Girl Scouts many years ago (with over 1000 trees planted); visit www.treetures.com. See where it all started!

Some other iconic landmarks include St. Paul’s Church, which is a national shrine of the Bill of Rights, the Marble Schoolhouse and Hotel Gramatan.  These places are great for visitors and locals alike to enjoy.  It is also known as the “Cradle of American Golf” as Eastchester has had its share of champions.

The town offers numerous community events every year, many independently owned restaurants and lots of history/culture!  And even with a population of over 33,000, it stills has a small town vibe.
